Pierce has gone a perfect 10-0 against Winters recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bears will challenge the Warriors at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

On Tuesday, Pierce came up short against East Nicolaus and fell 3-1.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: East Nicolaus scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 20-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Winters was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to Willows.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 21-25, 25-6, 25-21.

Winters' loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Pierce, their defeat dropped their record down to 23-9.

Everything went Pierce's way against Winters in their previous meeting back in September, as Pierce made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
