LaFayette dropped down to 5-2 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They were dealt a 79-48 loss at the hands of the Calhoun Yellow Jackets. The Ramblers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-22.

As for Calhoun, their record now sits at 1-0. They haven't had any issues with LaFayette recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calhoun to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaxon Moore, who almost dropped a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trace Hawkins, who shot 50% from the field en route to 15 points.

LaFayette has already played their next game, a 61-40 win against Oakwood Christian on the 11th. As for Calhoun, they will head out on the road to face off against Gilmer at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. The Yellow Jackets will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups.
