Sam Nicholson gave up the fewest walks he has since back in March on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. He also allowed no hits, which is notable because Hazen is 3-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 3-7-1 otherwise.

Coming up, Nicholson and Hazen are taking a road trip to face off against Issaquah at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Highlanders haven't beaten the Eagles recently, having gone 0-3 since May of 2021.
