Centreville Academy blew Adams County Christian out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Adams County Christian got their revenge. The Centreville Academy Tigers fell just short of the Adams County Christian Rebels by a score of 7-5. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Tigers have suffered since March 12, 2024.

Garrett Jeansonne was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Centreville Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Adams County Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-1.
