Baseball Recap: Miyamura Snaps Five-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After flying high against Laguna Acoma last Tuesday, Miyamura came back down to earth. Miyamura lost 10-0 to the Grants Pirates on Wednesday. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Patriots were not able to get on the board.

Miyamura's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-6. As for Grants, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Coming up, Miyamura will head out to challenge Rehoboth Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Miyamura's pitchers better be ready for this one: Rehoboth Christian has averaged an impressive 7.6 runs per game this season. As for Grants, they will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Kirtland Central at 11:00 a.m.
