Eustace had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Commerce Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Eustace was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (100-97), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-20, 18-25, 14-25, 15-11.

Sheyenne Powell went supernova, getting 28 digs and one assist. Those 28 digs gave her a new career-high.

Eustace's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Commerce, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Eustace didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pioneer Tech & Arts Academy on the 16th. Commerce has also already played their next matchup (against Mineola), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
