Softball Recap: West Wendover Comes Up Short

West Wendover lost against Indian Springs back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The West Wendover Wolverines fell 15-10 to the Indian Springs Thunderbirds. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexa Aranda was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one run. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in RBI. Another player making a difference was Brisieda Haro, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

West Wendover's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Indian Springs, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

West Wendover wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against Pinecrest Academy Cadence on the 8th. As for Indian Springs, they have also already played their next contest, a 13-11 loss against The Meadows School on the 7th.
