Basketball Recap: Clinton Comes Up Short

Clinton lost against Warren County last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Clinton Dragons took a 55-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warren County Pioneers & Lady Pioneers.

Clinton's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Warren County, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Clinton will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Campbell County at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. One thing working in Campbell County's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six games. Warren County also won't see the court for a while: their next contest is against Stewarts Creek at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
