Volleyball Recap: Hill Takes a Loss

Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Pioneer Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

While Hill was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Pioneer's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-22.

Hill's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Pioneer, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Looking ahead, Hill is taking a road trip to square off against Westmont at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pioneer, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Christopher on the 17th.
