Football Recap: Plant City Comes Up Short on the Road Against Durant

Plant City kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell to the Durant Cougars 6-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Plant City didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Peyton Johnson and Samiyyah Davis.

Looking ahead, Plant City will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Lennard at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Durant, they will head out to face off against Spoto at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
