Basketball Game Preview: Eureka Vandals vs. Virginia City Muckers

The Eureka Vandals will take on the Virginia City Muckers in a tournament on Friday.

Eureka's tournament run continued when they took on Mineral County on Saturday. The Vandals took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Serpents. The Vandals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Virginia City entered their tilt with Tonopah on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They took down Tonopah 47-28.

Virginia City's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Eureka, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Eureka might still be hurting after the 65-44 loss they got from Virginia City when the teams last played back in February. Can the Vandals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
