With a playoff win on the line, Mt. Spokane rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cheney Blackhawks a 12-0 shutout. The Wildcats' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Mt. Spokane pushed their record up to 21-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Cheney, their loss dropped their record down to 8-13.

Mt. Spokane does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cheney, they will face off against Ridgeline at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blackhawks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 9.9 runs per game this season.
