Volleyball Recap: Carbon Starts Season with Win Against Juab

Carbon took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Tuesday. They skirted past the Juab Wasps 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Dinos have posted since September 10, 2024.

Carbon was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 19-25, 21-25, 25-22, 17-15.

Carbon found their leader in sophomore Laycie Gregersen, who had 15 digs and two assists.

Juab's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Carbon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Juan Diego Catholic on the 14th. As for Juab, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Millard on the 14th.
