Volleyball Recap: Southern School of Energy and Sustainability Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Riverside-Durham Pirates. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-20.

Leading Riverside-Durham to victory were Nureen Khan and Liesl Rehder. Khan had 15 digs and four assists, while Rehder had eight assists and four digs. Khan is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last eight games she's played.

Southern School of Energy and Sustainability's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Riverside-Durham, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
