Volleyball Recap: Bloomfield Hills Snags 13th Win in Last 14 Games

Bloomfield Hills won the last time they faced Lakeland and things went their way on Saturday too. The Black Hawks walked away with a 2-0 win over the Eagles.

Kayla Nwabueze paced Bloomfield Hills' offense, picking up eight kills. Nwabueze got some help from Brynn Wilcox and her 19 assists. Wilcox also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Cameron Howland, each putting up two.

Bloomfield Hills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-3 record this season. As for Lakeland, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 15-16-1.

Looking ahead, Bloomfield Hills will host Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeland, they will take on Utica Eisenhower in a tournament on Saturday.
