Soccer Recap: South Summit Comes Up Short at Home Against Maeser Prep Academy

South Summit unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Maeser Prep Academy Lions on Monday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2021.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as South Summit take on Hurricane at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Maeser Prep Academy, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Intermountain Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
