The East Limestone Indians are taking a road trip to challenge the James Clemens Jets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games East Limestone has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Abby Thompson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on seven hits. What's more, she gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest she's had over her last six contests.
At the plate, East Limestone's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Lara Looney, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Meanwhile, James Clemens never let their opponents score last Saturday. They put the hurt on Russellville with a sharp 7-0 win. The Jets not only won last Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since February 27th.
Makayla Mann and Preslee Etheridge made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Mann tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Etheridge pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. At the plate, Mann scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Etheridge scored a run while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Harper Jones, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Erica Abend also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.
James Clemens kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.
East Limestone's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for James Clemens, their record is now 5-9-1.
