Basketball Recap: Fox Chapel's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Fox Chapel won against Pine-Richland last Tuesday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Fox Chapel Foxes secured a 66-62 W over the Woodland Hills Wolverines. The victory was nothing new for the Foxes as they're now sitting on three straight.

It was another big night for Caden Kaiser, who went 9 of 16 on his way to 21 points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Anderson Dockey, who posted nine points.

Fox Chapel smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in five consecutive matchups.

Fox Chapel's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Woodland Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Fox Chapel and Peters Township will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday. Fox Chapel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59 points per game this season. As for Woodland Hills, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Butler at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
