Saline had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Adrian Maples with a sharp 10-0 win. The Hornets have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Maples, too.

Saline's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Adrian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Saline beat Adrian by a score of 8-1 later that day.
