Baseball Recap: Westosha Central Comes Up Short

Westosha Central managed to slip by Elkhorn the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Falcons lost 12-5 to the Elks on Tuesday.

Everett Lucero was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and two doubles. Nolan Woltersdorf also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Westosha Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Elkhorn, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Westosha Central will be playing at home against Waukesha West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Elkhorn will be paying especially close attention to the Falcons' game: after the Falcons face off against the Wolverines, they'll take on Elkhorn again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
