After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Roosevelt, Berthoud was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They put the hurt on the Greeley Central Wildcats with a sharp 13-3 win. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Wyatt Barmes was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.
