Softball Recap: Perham Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Perham entered their tilt with Frazee on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They skirted past the Hornets 13-11. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Yellowjackets have posted against the Hornets since May 18, 2017.

Nora Wells was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Solberg, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Perham was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2025.

Perham's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Frazee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Perham is taking a road trip to challenge Detroit Lakes at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Frazee, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton at 5:00 p.m.
