Volleyball Recap: Taft Raiders vs. O'Connor Panthers
Taft was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the O'Connor Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.

Despite the loss, Taft still got an impressive performance from Ariana Burgos, who had 17 digs. Burgos is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last six games she's played.
Taft's defeat dropped their record down to 13-20. As for O'Connor, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 29-6.
Taft is on the road again on Friday to play Holmes at 7:00 p.m. As for O'Connor, a feisty cat fight will be fought when Panthers challenges WILDCATS at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. They will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
