Softball Recap: Diamond Wildcats vs. Fair Grove Eagles

Diamond put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against the Fair Grove Eagles as the Diamond Wildcats made off with a 13-2 victory. Diamond might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Caitlyn Suhrie made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Suhrie was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a home run, two RBI, and a double.

In other batting news, Grace Frazier and Lauren Turner did most of the damage at the plate: Frazier went 2-for-4 with a home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Turner went 3-for-4 with a home run and three runs. Another player making a difference was Sara Roszell, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
