Marietta is a perfect 10-0 against Dover since August of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Tigers will square off against the Crimson Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. Marietta will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Marietta is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Fairfield Union get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that Marietta have won by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Dover's game on Wednesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They blew past Tri-Valley 3-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Dover's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 132nd, while Tri-Valley are ranked 337th).

Dover hit Tri-Valley with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bridget McCrate, Serenity Blickensderfer, and Alexandria Parson.

Dover's win bumped their record up to 11-7-1. As for Marietta, their victory bumped their record up to 16-2-1.

Marietta took their win against Dover when the teams last played back in August of 2023 by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
