Meanwhile, Parsons fell victim to Iola and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 1-0. The Vikings have struggled against the Mustangs recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Parsons' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Pittsburg, their win bumped their record up to 5-6-1.

Everything went Pittsburg's way against Parsons when the teams last played back in March, as Pittsburg made off with a 16-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Dragons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
