Basketball Game Preview: Carver A&T Wildcats vs. Dulaney Lions

Carver A&T is 0-8 against Dulaney since February of 2015 but things could change on Wednesday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Carver A&T Wildcats duke it out with the Dulaney Lions at 5:30 p.m.

Carver A&T is headed into Wednesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 20th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They came up short against Patapsco, falling 72-48. One positive for the Wildcats, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Dulaney posted their biggest win since February 2, 2024 on Wednesday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 61-31 victory over Pikesville. Given the Lions' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 59th, while the Panthers are ranked 209th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dulaney's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Carver A&T, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
