There's no place like home for Del Oro, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Granite Bay Grizzlies on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  victory against them.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Del Oro took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-13,  25-15.

Del Oro had a senior duo take command as  Gia Hoffman  had ten  digs and seven  aces and  Lily Smith  had nine  digs and two  assists. Those seven  aces set a new season-high mark for  Hoffman.  Charli Roccucci also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  dig of the season.
 Del Oro  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 14  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least nine  aces in three consecutive  matchups.
Del Oro's win bumped their record up to 24-10. As for Granite Bay, their loss was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 13-22.
As of now, neither Del Oro nor the Grizzlies have any future games scheduled.
