Basketball Recap: Morse Takes a Loss

Morse pushed their score to 58 the last time they played Lincoln Academy, but on Thursday they couldn't quite do it again. The Morse Shipbuilders lost to the Lincoln Academy Eagles at home by a 40-21 margin. The Shipbuilders just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Morse's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lincoln Academy, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Morse will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Sacopee Valley at 1:30 p.m. on December 27th. As for Lincoln Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against York at 1:30 p.m. One thing working in York's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
