Paraclete extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 10-1. They came out on top against the Saint Joseph Jesters by a score of 9-4. This was payback for the Spirits, who suffered a 10-9 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sydney Scripter made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up four earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jessa Hettiger, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Norah Javorsek also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Saint Joseph fell to 13-1. The loss was their first of the season.

On Saint Joseph's side, Morgan Mora was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Another player making a difference was Camila Quiroz, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Paraclete has already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Frontier on the 20th. As for Saint Joseph, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-1 loss against El Dorado on the 21st.
