Baseball Recap: Diamond Bar Comes Up Short

Diamond Bar lost a heartbreaker to Walnut when they met back in April of 2025, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. The Brahmas fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 6-5. The Brahmas haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Sebastian Roseli was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he tossed 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits.

At the plate, Diamond Bar saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ayden Torres, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Diamond Bar's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Walnut, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-13-1 record this season.

Diamond Bar wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 7-1 win against Valencia on the 4th. As for Walnut, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Saugus at 3:15 p.m. on the 14th.
