It was a Battle of the Birds when Sauk Prairie took on Baraboo on Friday. The Sauk Prairie Eagles walked away with a 43-36 victory over the Baraboo Thunderbirds. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 185th, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 378th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sauk Prairie's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Baraboo, they dropped their record down to 3-20 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home.

Coming up, Sauk Prairie will host Lodi at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Baraboo, they will head out on the road to face off against Mount Horeb at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
