Basketball Recap: Diamond Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Diamond challenged Lockwood on Wednesday. The Diamond Wildcats walked away with a 49-42 victory over the Lockwood Tigers. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Diamond has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.5 points per game. As for Lockwood, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 6-4.

Diamond will challenge Skyline at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lockwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Halfway at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
