Basketball Recap: Millville Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Millville can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 67-31 loss at the hands of the North Penn-Liberty Mountie. The Quakers' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 17 in a row.

Luke Kreger was his usual excellent self, going 10-for-16 on his way to 21 points and five steals for North Penn-Liberty. What's more, Kreger also posted a 63% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Adynn Wheeland, who posted 11 points in addition to seven steals and five assists.

Millville's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for North Penn-Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Millville nor North Penn-Liberty have any future games scheduled.
