Volleyball Recap: Sandwich Comes Up Short

Sandwich lost against East Bridgewater on October 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blue Knights lost 3-0 to the Vikings. The Blue Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-0, 25-0.

Madeline Brown paced Sandwich's offense, picking up seven kills. Brown got some help from Nora Katzenback and her nine assists. Allie Loewen and Jenna Fay kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Sandwich's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for East Bridgewater, they pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Sandwich didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Cohasset on the 23rd. As for East Bridgewater, they will take on Pembroke at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
