Volleyball Recap: West Bloomfield Takes a Loss

West Bloomfield lost against Stoney Creek back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lakers lost 3-0 to the Cougars. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-21, 25-15.

Eleanor Luhmann was the offensive standout of the contest as she had nine digs and one assist.

West Bloomfield's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Stoney Creek, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

West Bloomfield and Stoney Creek should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Lakers will challenge Troy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (99 vs. 303). Meanwhile, Stoney Creek (ranked 86th) will meet Walled Lake Western (ranked 434th) at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
