Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kouts). They took their matchup on Saturday with ease, bagging a 62-17 victory over the Hebron Hawks. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs & Fillies sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Sophia Tikalsky had an outrageously good game as she went 5 for 7 on her way to 13 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ellie Nemeth, who posted seven points in addition to six steals and five boards.

Kouts smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.

Kouts pushed their record up to 7-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Hebron, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.

Kouts will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North White at 10:00 a.m. on January 3, 2025. Hebron will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against West Central at 8:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
