Baseball Game Preview: St. Mary's Springs Ledgers vs. Lomira Lions

For the second straight game, St. Mary's Springs will face off against Lomira. The Ledgers will be playing at home against the Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.

St. Mary's Springs took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Lomira, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Ledgers had just enough and edged out the Lions 8-6. The game was the first time the Ledgers have beaten the Lions on their field since June 16, 2021.

Kale Krusick was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI. He has become a key player for St. Mary's Springs: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 1-5 otherwise. Carter Bartelt also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.
