Volleyball Recap: Moon Valley Comes Up Short

Moon Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Greenway Demons. The Rockets were not able to make up for their loss to the Demons from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-17.

Enedina Virgil Macey paced Moon Valley's offense, picking up ten kills. Virgil Macey got some help from Jah'Laya Rowe and her eight assists. Regina Roman Angulo controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Moon Valley now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Greenway, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 9-11.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Moon Valley is set to face off against their familiar foe Paradise Honors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Greenway will challenge rival Shadow Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
