Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Tri-Valley

The matchup between Tri-Valley and Tamaqua on Thursday hardly resembled the 4-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 13-8. 13 seems to be a good number for the Bulldogs as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory (which was Tri-Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Tamaqua, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Tri-Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-3 defeat against Halifax on the 11th. As for Tamaqua, they have also already played their next game, a 12-7 victory against Minersville on the 10th.
