Softball Recap: Triad Cardinals vs. Riverside Pirates
Triad won against Riverside last Thursday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Triad Cardinals skirted past the Riverside Pirates 6-4. The victory was nothing new for Triad as they're now sitting on four straight.
Kaley Nott was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and a stolen base. Another player making a difference was Autumn Feasel, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Triad pushed their record up to 6-14 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Riverside, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
Triad will face off against Fort Loramie at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
