Richmond has gone 8-2 against Muncie Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Red Devils will take on the Bearcats at 12:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses dating back to last season for Richmond and six for Muncie Central dating back to last season.

Richmond is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took a 60-44 bruising from Greenfield-Central last Tuesday. While the Red Devils didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 16-9 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Muncie Central came up short against Blackford on Saturday and fell 45-37.

Muncie Central's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Richmond, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Richmond didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Muncie Central when the teams last played back in November of 2024, but they still walked away with a 43-37 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
