Carbon Hill has gone a perfect 4-0 against Cold Springs recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Carbon Hill has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 11.

Carbon Hill lost 17-5 to Gordo on Thursday.

Carbon Hill saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Sides, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Cold Springs hadn't done well against Falkville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Eagles blew past the Blue Devils 8-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Cold Springs' win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Carbon Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 3-18.

Carbon Hill came out on top in a nail-biter against Cold Springs in their previous matchup back in March of 2022, sneaking past 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
