Basketball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 56-18 loss at the hands of the Tri-Valley Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redhawks of the 55-14 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Liberty's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Tri-Valley, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, Liberty will challenge O'Neill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Raiders will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something the Redhawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Tri-Valley, they will square off against Eldred at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
