Golden Gate was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Immokalee Indians, falling 18-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Golden Gate's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Immokalee, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Golden Gate and Everglades City will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Immokalee, they will welcome LaBelle at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Immokalee is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.4 runs per game this season.
