Soccer Game Preview: Yucaipa vs. Pacifica

Yucaipa is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They never let Dos Pueblos onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Pacifica had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 2.3 goals) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Golden Bears. Given the Mariners' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 176th, while the Golden Bears are ranked 386th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Yucaipa's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Pacifica, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
