Basketball Game Preview: Stevens Raiders vs. Mitchell Kernels

The Stevens Raiders will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against the Mitchell Kernels at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Mitchell took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Stevens, who comes in off a win.

Stevens not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since January 7th (when they won 70-46). They were the clear victors by a 55-35 margin over Aberdeen Central. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Mitchell kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 59-55 to Watertown.

Stevens couldn't quite finish off Mitchell in their previous meeting back in December of 2024 and fell 55-52. Can the Raiders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
