Volleyball Recap: Smyer Falls to Plains in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Smyer had to start their season on the road on Tuesday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Plains Cowboys, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-13, 25-9.

The win made it two in a row for Plains and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smyer will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tahoka at 9:00 a.m. on September 6. After both having extra time off, Plains and Levelland will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
