Baseball Recap: Winona Comes Up Short

Winona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Naylor Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Wildcats have lost by exactly three runs.

Winona's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Winona wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, an 8-3 loss against Houston on the 22nd. As for Naylor, they have also already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Portageville on the 21st.
