Volleyball Recap: Garner Takes a Loss

Garner saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Crowley Eagles by a score of 3-2. The Longhorns have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Makayla Gonzalez paced Garner's offense, picking up 16 kills. Gonzalez got some help from Jenna Hallmark and her 22 assists. Gonzalez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Garner now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Crowley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Garner has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Decatur on the 16th. As for Crowley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Godley on the 16th.
